|   Ever since her freshman collegiate season at Tennessee, Chamique Holdsclaw has grabbed the attention of women's basketball fans across the country. That year, 1995, Chamique led her team in scoring against the USA Women's National Team, then continued her amazing scoring record, helping her team win the 1996 NCAA crown. Chamique's list of awards, titles and accomplishments fill a page, including NCAA Final Four Most Outstanding Player in 1998 and 1999, leading scorer and rebounder for USA Basketball's 1997 World Championship Qualifying team, and helping the US capture the 1999 U.S. Olympic Cup gold medal and USA Basketball International Invitational Championship. Chamique holds the all-time NCAA Tournament records for scoring and rebounding. And she was named the 1999 WNBA Rookie of the Year. The list only continues to grow. Despite her incredible on-court skills, 'Mique remains a friendly, down-to-earth person. And since she majored in political science at Tennessee, after she conquers the world of basketball, who knows? She might run for President.
