Will To Win is Gatorade's unique program to recognize and reward high school athletes who demonstrate dedication, determination and desire… which are qualities it takes to be the best in whatever you choose to do in life. Will To Win athletes are chosen by their coaches, and recognized nationally in Sports Illustrated as being the top performers in their sport. Boys' eligible sports are football, baseball, basketball and soccer, while for girls it's softball, volleyball, basketball and soccer. Will To Win athletes receive special Will To Win Awards – including a personalized nameplate on a school plaque – and in addition, one Will To Win athlete per sport in each state will win a $1000 scholarship from the State Coaches Association.
